SECTION 23-28.1-10

   § 23-28.1-10  Issuance and validity ofcertificates. – Notwithstanding any law, regulation or practice to the contrary, smoke detectorand carbon monoxide detector certificates issued by any state or localauthority shall be valid for such period as the issuing authority may specify,but in no event for less than a period of one hundred twenty (120) days fromthe date of issuance.
