§ 23-28.5-7 - Appeal to supreme court.

SECTION 23-28.5-7

   § 23-28.5-7  Appeal to supreme court.– (a) Any person aggrieved by the final decree in the district court may appealto the supreme court on any question of law or equity decided adversely to theappellant. The appeal shall follow the general procedure prescribed by theWorkers' Compensation Act, chapters 29 – 37 of title 28.

   (b) The claim of an appeal shall suspend the operation of anyorder or decree appealed from, but, in the case of default in taking theprocedure required, the suspension shall cease, and the district court uponmotion of any party shall proceed as if no claim of appeal has been made,unless it be made to appear to the district court that the default no longerexists.
