SECTION 23-33-2.3

   § 23-33-2.3  Qualified mechanic. – No person shall, within the limits of this state, construct or install anyelevator, escalator or other device subject to the provisions of this chapteror repair or maintain any parts of the drive machinery, controllers or safetycircuits thereof without being licensed by the division of occupational safety.The fee and the requirements for this license shall be established byregulation through the code commission.
