SECTION 23-4.1-14

   § 23-4.1-14  Notification of next of kin orother member of household. – Whenever any person requires emergency medical transportation from their homeor business establishment by any private or public ambulance or rescue vehicle,and no member of the patient's family, household or a business associate ispresent at the time of evaluation, the rescue team shall affix a sticker orother means of notification in the place of evaluation. The sticker shall notethe patient's name if available and a telephone number where information can beobtained to ascertain the patient's whereabouts. Failure to comply with theprovisions of this section shall not result in any civil or criminal liabilityon the part of the private or public ambulance or rescue vehicle company ortheir personnel.
