SECTION 23-4.12-3

   § 23-4.12-3  Life of the mother exception.– Section 23-4.12-2 shall not apply to a partial birth abortion that is necessaryto save the life of a mother because her life is endangered by a physicaldisorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangeringcondition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself; provided, that noother medical procedure would suffice for that purpose.
