SECTION 23-4-12
§ 23-4-12 Compensation for recovery ofbody from water. – When services are rendered in bringing to land the dead body of a person foundin any of the harbors, rivers, or waters of the state, compensation forservices as he or she deemed reasonable may be allowed; but this privilegeshall not entitle any person to compensation for services rendered in searchfor a dead body.
