   § 23-4-13  Establishment of fees. –The director of the department of health shall establish a fee of forty dollars($40.00) for autopsy reports, a fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) for cremationcertificates, and statistics, and not less than six hundred and fifty dollars($650) per hour nor more than thirty-two hundred and fifty dollars ($3,250) perday to give testimony in civil suits under this chapter. The director isauthorized to establish in regulation reasonable fees for additional documentsnot otherwise specified in this section. All of these fees shall be collectedand deposited as general revenues; provided, however, that no city or town, orany agency or department of a city and town within the state, or the departmentof human services, shall be required to pay any fees established by thedirector pursuant to this section.
