   § 23-6.1-1  Declaration of policy. –The legislature finds that there is a need to train public high school studentsin the life-saving technique known as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Inorder to initiate this program, it is the purpose of this chapter to providefor the establishment of a pilot program of training to be administered by thedepartment of elementary and secondary education.
