   § 23-6.3-1  Purpose. – The purpose of this chapter is to reduce vulnerability to HIV/AIDStransmission, protect persons who are infected with HIV from discrimination,ensure informed consent for testing, and to provide consistent terms andstandards within this title and as applicable to chapters 11-34, 11-37, 21-28and 40.1-24.
