   § 23-60.1-1  Legislative findings andpolicy. – The general assembly finds and declares that certain types of dry cellbatteries contain toxic heavy metals that are harmful in municipal solid waste.Batteries containing cadmium, mercury, and lead are especially harmful, andsome of these types are increasing in use.
