SECTION 23-65-11

   § 23-65-11  Renewal. – (a) Renewed certifications to individuals with previously issued certificatesmay be issued by the board at each three (3) year period following the originalissuance. Application for renewal of certification shall be made on formssupplied by the department of health prior to the expiration of the three yearcertification period.

   (b) The board shall review the applications and supportingdocuments, and unless errors, improper documentation or other deficiency isnoted, the applicant will be granted renewal certification.

   (c) Renewal of certification is dependent on the candidate'sgood stead with the board during the prior three (3) year period.

   (d) Renewal for certification is also dependent on the propercompletion of continuing education requirements as established by the board.
