SECTION 23-81-5

   § 23-81-5  Implementation of the councilrecommendations. – In order to promote effective implementation of the unified health plan, thecouncil shall recommend to the governor, the general assembly, and other stateagencies actions that may be taken to promote and ensure implementation of thecouncil's policy and program guidance. The secretary of the executive office ofhealth and human services and the director of health, as co-chairs, of thecouncil, shall use the powers of their offices to implement the recommendationsadopted by the council, as deemed appropriate, or as required by the governoror general assembly. The secretary shall coordinate the implementation of therecommended actions by the state agencies within the executive office of healthand human services.
