SECTION 23-9-8

   § 23-9-8  Unauthorized departure fromvessel under quarantine. – Every person who shall leave any ship or vessel under order of quarantinewithout permission from the health officer or the city or town council of thatcity or town, shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00); and thecity or town council may order that person to be returned on board of thatvessel, and to remain there until the council orders him or her to be dismissed.
