SECTION 24-8-1.2

   § 24-8-1.2  Rhode Island highway system– Establishment. – There is hereby established a Rhode Island highway system which shall includestate roads and municipal roads. The determination of those roads designated asstate roads and those designated as municipal roads shall be based upon afunctional classification system, as established by the state planning council.
