   § 24-8-1.6  Review. – The initial review of the functional classification system for jurisdictionalpurposes shall be completed by May 15, 1988. A review of this functionalclassification system shall take place every ten (10) years. The review shallcome under the supervision and authority of the state planning council. Anyamendment made to the functional classification system within the ten (10) yearperiod, shall not change the jurisdictional responsibilities for maintenance ofthose roads affected by the modification.
