SECTION 24-8-20

   § 24-8-20  Location of fuel pumps adjacentto highway. – No owner or other persons shall hereafter locate a pump as defined in §31-36-1, or a pump to be used to distribute lubricating oils or any attachmentsthereof within ten feet (10') of the boundary line of a state road withoutfirst obtaining the permission of the department of transportation. Thedepartment shall determine applications for permission upon the basis of publicsafety and may impose upon permits granted reasonable conditions to insurepublic safety.
