   § 24-8-29  Succession of director to stonebridge commissioner. – Whenever the words "commissioner of the Rhode Island stone bridge" occur in anygeneral law, public law, or resolution of the general assembly or are used inany document, record, instrument, or proceeding authorized by any such law orresolution relating to the commissioner of the Rhode Island stone bridge, thewords shall be construed to mean the director of the department oftransportation.
