SECTION 25-2-26

   § 25-2-26  Retired Teachers' Day. –The first Wednesday of April shall annually be set aside as a day to be knownas "Retired Teachers' Day." The day is to be observed by the people of thisstate with appropriate exercises, and the governor may issue an annualproclamation calling upon public schools and citizens of the state to observethe occasion and to take the opportunity to honor the retired teachers of thisstate.
