SECTION 27-1-16.2

   § 27-1-16.2  Court approved settlements.– Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, a person, corporation,or other entity who has resolved its liability to the receiver in ajudicially-approved good faith settlement shall not be liable for claims forcontribution or equitable indemnity regarding matters addressed in thesettlement. The settlement does not discharge any other joint tortfeasorsunless its terms provide for this discharge, but it reduces the potentialliability of joint tortfeasors by the amount of the settlement.
