SECTION 27-1-43

   § 27-1-43  Applicability. – The general provisions of law relating to the duties, obligations,prohibitions, or penalties which appertain to insurance companies incorporatedunder the authority of this state, and defining the powers and duties of theinsurance commissioner in reference to those companies, shall be and areapplicable to all corporations, companies and associations incorporated underthe authority of this state, and to all partnerships and individuals, doing, asprincipals or otherwise, in this state, any insurance business of any name,kind or description, including the transaction of reinsurance.
