§ 27-10-11 Penalty for violations. Any person who acts as an insurance claim adjuster, other than for life andaccident and health insurance, without holding a current valid license asprovided in this chapter, or shall act in any manner in the negotiation of anyinsurance claim agreement in violation of any provision of this chapter, shallbe punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or byimprisonment for not more than three (3) months, or both, for each offense. Inaddition, the insurance commissioner shall be empowered to revoke or suspendany license issued under this chapter for the violation of this chapter, asprovided in § 27-10-7.
