§ 27-14.1-2 - Applicability. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 27-14.1-2

   § 27-14.1-2  Applicability. – The provisions of this chapter apply to:

   (1) All domestic insurers, including a protected cell companyorganized under the Protected Cell Companies Act, chapter 64 of this title, andany of its protected cells established pursuant to that chapter, to the extentnot inconsistent with the provisions of that chapter; and

   (2) Any other insurer doing business in this state whosestate of domicile has asked the commissioner to apply the provisions of thischapter as regards that insurer.
