§ 27-16-1.3 Restraining order. Whenever the commissioner believes, from evidence satisfactory to thecommissioner, that any insurer is violating or about to violate the provisionsof § 27-16-1.2, the commissioner may, through the attorney general of thisstate, cause a complaint to be filed in the superior court to enjoin andrestrain the insurer from continuing the violation or engaging in it or doingany act in furtherance of it. The court shall have jurisdiction of theproceeding and shall have the power to make and enter an order or judgmentawarding any preliminary or final injunctive relief as in its judgment isproper.
