SECTION 27-17-16

   § 27-17-16  Penalty for doing businesswithout compliance. – Any attorney who exchanges any contracts of insurance of the kind and characterspecified in this chapter, or any attorney or representative of the attorneywho solicits or negotiates any applications for the attorney without theattorney first complying with the provisions of this chapter, shall be deemedguilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be subjected to a fine ofnot less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars($1,000).
