SECTION 27-17-17

   § 27-17-17  Permits to solicit powers ofattorney and applications. – For the purposes of complying with the requirements of this chapter as setforth in § 27-17-4(6) and upon issuance of a permit by the commissionerand under any conditions as he or she may impose, powers of attorney andapplications for the insurance contracts may be solicited without compliancewith the provisions of this chapter, but no attorney or other person shallexecute or issue the contracts of insurance until all of the provisions of thischapter have been complied with and a certificate of authority issued by thecommissioner.
