SECTION 27-17-20

   § 27-17-20  Applicability of insuranceproducers' laws. – The provisions of the general insurance laws of this state regarding theappointment, licensing, qualification, and regulation of insurance producersshall not apply to an exchange or its attorney, or to a traveling salariedemployee, or to an executive officer or the attorney if a corporation, butshall apply to any other person, partnership, or corporation representing thereciprocal or interinsurance exchange in soliciting, negotiating, or effectingof business in this state.
