   § 27-18-36  New cancer therapies –Under investigation. – Every individual or group hospital or medical expense insurance policy orindividual or group hospital or medical service plan contract delivered, issuedfor delivery or renewed in this state, except policies which only providecoverage for specified diseases other than cancer, fixed indemnity, disabilityincome, accident only, long-term care Medicare supplement limited benefithealth, sickness or bodily injury or death by accident or both, or otherlimited benefit policies, shall provide coverage for new cancer therapies stillunder investigation as outlined in this chapter.
