   § 27-25-27  Annual license. – (a) The authority of all societies shall be continuous unless sooner revoked orsuspended as provided in this chapter. For each license the society shall paythe commissioner of insurance one hundred dollars ($100). The society shall paya license fee of one hundred dollars ($100) annually prior to April 30 of eachyear. A duly certified copy or duplicate of the license shall be prima facieevidence that the licensee is a fraternal benefit society within the meaning ofthis chapter.

   (b) The commissioner may assess a late fee of ten dollars($10.00) per day for each day the society is late in remitting its annuallicense fee.
