§ 27-34.2-15 - Requirement to deliver shopper's guide.
SECTION 27-34.2-15
§ 27-34.2-15 Requirement to delivershopper's guide. – (a) A long term care insurance shopper's guide in the format developed by theNational Association of Insurance Commissioners, or a guide developed orapproved by the director, shall be provided to all prospective applicants of along term care insurance policy or certificate.
(b) In the case of insurance producer solicitations, aninsurance producer must deliver the shopper's guide prior to the presentationof an application or enrollment form.
(c) In the case of direct response solicitations, theshopper's guide must be presented in conjunction with any application orenrollment form.
(d) Life insurance policies or riders containing acceleratedlong term care benefits are not required to furnish the shopper's guide, butshall furnish the required policy summary.
