SECTION 27-35-11

   § 27-35-11  Revocation, suspension, ornonrenewal of insurer's license. – Whenever it appears to the commissioner that any person has committed aviolation of this chapter which makes the continued operation of an insurercontrary to the interests of policyholders or the public, the commissioner may,after giving notice and an opportunity to be heard, determine to suspend,revoke, or refuse to renew the insurer's license or authority to do business inthis state for any period that he or she finds is required for the protectionof policyholders or the public. That determination shall be accompanied byspecific findings of fact and conclusions of law.
