   § 27-4.4-2  Applicability. – This chapter shall not apply to any reinsurance, group annuity purchased undera retirement plan or plan of deferred compensation established or maintained byan employer including a partnership or sole proprietorship or by an employeeorganization, or by both, other than a plan providing individual retirementaccounts or individual retirement annuities under 26 U.S.C. § 408, premiumdeposit fund, variable annuity, investment annuity, immediate annuity, anydeferred annuity contract after annuity payments have commenced, orreversionary annuity, nor to any contract which shall be delivered outside thisstate through an insurance provider or other representative of the companyissuing the contract.
