SECTION 27-41-8

   § 27-41-8  Evidence of coverage and chargesfor health care services. – (a) Every enrollee residing in this state is entitled to evidence of coveragefor the payment and for the provision of health care services under a healthmaintenance organization. The health maintenance organization shall issue thatevidence of coverage.

   (b) Any evidence of coverage issued by a health maintenanceorganization licensed under this chapter shall comply with the minimumstandards protection of § 42-62-12 and regulations pursuant to thatsection.

   (c) No schedule of charges, rates, or rating formulae forenrollee coverage for health care services, or amendment to any schedule, maybe used by any health maintenance organization until a copy of that schedule,rate, or rating formula, or amendment to it, has been filed with and approvedby the director under the provisions of § 42-62-13.
