SECTION 27-46-15

   § 27-46-15  Severability. – If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or part of this chapter or theapplication of this chapter to any person or circumstances shall, for anyreason, be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, thatjudgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder of this chapter,and the application of the chapter to other persons or circumstances, but shallbe confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section, orpart of it directly involved in the controversy in which the judgment shallhave been rendered and to the person or circumstances involved.
