SECTION 27-9-12

   § 27-9-12  Suspension or modification offiling requirements. – Under rules and regulations the commissioner adopts, the commissioner may, bywritten order, suspend or modify the requirements of filing as to any kind ofinsurance, or subdivision or combination of insurance, or as to classes ofrisks, the rates for which cannot practically be filed before they are used.Those orders, rules, and regulations shall be made known to insurers and ratingorganizations affected by them. The commissioner may make an examination as thecommissioner may deem advisable to ascertain whether any rates affected by anorder meet the standards set forth in § 27-9-4(a)(4).
