SECTION 27-9-25

   § 27-9-25  Cooperation among organizationsand insurers – Review of cooperative practices. – Cooperation among rating organizations or among rating organizations andinsurers and concert of action among insurers under the same general managementor control in rate making or in other matters within the scope of this chapterare authorized, provided the filings resulting from that cooperation aresubject to all of the provisions of this chapter which are applicable to filinggenerally. The commissioner may review cooperative activities and practices andif, after a hearing, he or she finds that any cooperative activity or practiceis unfair or unreasonable or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter,the commissioner may issue a written order specifying in what respects thatactivity or practice is unfair or unreasonable or inconsistent with theprovisions of this chapter, and requiring the discontinuance of that activityor practice.
