SECTION 28-1-1

   § 28-1-1  Annual report of director togeneral assembly. – The director of labor and training shall collect, arrange, tabulate, andpublish, in a report by him or her to be made to the general assembly annuallyin January, the facts and statistical details in relation to the condition oflabor and business in all mechanical, manufacturing, commercial, and otherindustrial business of the state, and especially in relation to the social,educational, and sanitary condition of the laboring classes, with anysuggestions that he or she deems to be proper for the improvement of theircondition and the bettering of their advantages for intellectual and moralinstruction, together with any other information that he or she deems to beuseful to the general assembly in the proper performance of its legislativeduties regarding the subjects that he or she is required to report.
