SECTION 28-10-6

   § 28-10-6  "Person" defined. – Whenever used in §§ 28-10-7 and 28-10-8, the word "person" means anyindividual, firm, association, corporation, or law enforcement agency,provided, that the word does not include any member of a city or town policedepartment, any member of the division of state police, any sheriff or deputysheriff, or any member of the militia of this state while acting in the courseof duty and under the direction and order of any superior officer.
