SECTION 28-14-3

   § 28-14-3  Deduction and payment of uniondues. – Whenever a majority of the members of the duly certified collective bargainingunit in any place of employment requests, in writing, from their employer thattheir union dues be deducted from their salary, the dues shall be deducted andremitted together with a list of the members whose dues have been deducted andthe amount so deducted to the treasurer of the labor union designated by theemployee in the request. The deductions shall be taken out according toappropriate payroll periods.
