SECTION 28-14-8

   § 28-14-8  Payment of undisputed amounts inwage disputes. – In case of a dispute over wages, the employer shall give written notice to theemployee of the amount of wages that he or she concedes to be due and shall paythat amount without condition within the time set by this chapter; provided,that acceptance by the employee of this payment shall not constitute a releaseas to the balance of his or her claim.
