SECTION 28-2-8

   § 28-2-8  Duty of law enforcement officersto seek unemployed persons. – After the issuance of the proclamation in § 28-2-1, it shall be the dutyof the sheriffs and deputy sheriffs of the respective counties and of any otherofficer, state, county, or municipality charged with enforcing the law, to seekand continue to seek diligently the names and places of residence ofable-bodied male persons within their respective jurisdictions between the agesof eighteen (18) and fifty (50) not regularly or continuously employed.
