SECTION 28-26-1.1

   § 28-26-1.1  Functions of board ofexaminers – Code of ethics. – The hoisting engineers board shall meet once a month or as deemed necessary toconduct business. The board shall have a policy making role in the preparationand amendment of rules and regulations pertaining to chapter 26 of title 28,and in the preparation and composition of the examinations to be administeredby the division. Subsequent to the administration of the examinations, theboard of examiners shall review the examinations to evaluate theireffectiveness. The board shall also hold hearings on violations of chapter 26of title 28, and make recommendations to the director of labor and training.Members of the board shall be subject to the provisions of chapter 14 of title36.
