SECTION 28-27-1
§ 28-27-1 Purpose. – This chapter is necessary to protect the life, property, safety, and welfare ofthe people of Rhode Island; to promote conservation of our natural resourcesused to generate energy; the proper installation of all piping systems and/orequipment used in fire protection systems; and in the generation andconsumption of energy used for the purpose of all heating, cooling and airdistribution systems.
