   § 28-27-14  Examination of applications.– The department shall provide and conduct examinations three (3) times each yearof applicants who have had their application for a pipefitter orrefrigeration/air conditioning or fire protection sprinklercontractor/sprinkler fitter master or journeyperson or sheet metal contractoror journeyperson sheet metal worker placed on file with the department. Allexaminations shall be conducted by the division of professional regulation ofthe department of labor and training with the aid and cooperation of the boardof examiners and shall be conducted at places designated by the departmentwithin the state consistent with the reasonable convenience of the applicant.All test materials shall be preserved for three (3) months after the date ofthe test.
