SECTION 28-29-13

   § 28-29-13  Posting of summaries of law.– (a) Every employer subject to or who elects to become subject to the provisionsof chapters 29 – 38 of this title shall display a copy of the summary ofthe major provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act in conspicuous places inwhich workers are employed.

   (b) Any employer who fails to post the summaries required inthis section shall be assessed a penalty of two hundred and fifty dollars($250) per offense.

   (c) The director, in his or her discretion, may bring a civilaction to collect all penalties assessed. The workers' compensation court shallhave jurisdiction to enforce compliance with any order of the director madepursuant to this section.

   (d) All penalties collected pursuant to this section shall bedeposited in the general fund.
