SECTION 28-33-24

   § 28-33-24  Cessation of payments on deathof employee. – All payments of compensation under chapters 29 – 38 of this title shallcease upon the death of the employee from a cause other than or not induced bythe injury for which he or she is receiving compensation; provided, that wherespecific compensation is payable under the provisions of § 28-33-19, thosepayments shall be vested and are not to be divested by any subsequent happeningor contingency.
