SECTION 28-33-6

   § 28-33-6  Failure to provide or acceptmedical services. – In the case of the employer's neglect or refusal reasonably to do so, theemployer shall be liable for the reasonable expense incurred by or on behalf ofthe employee in providing treatment, and the refusal of the employee to accepttreatment reasonably required to lessen or terminate his or her incapacityshall bar the employee from receiving compensation during the period of refusal.
