SECTION 28-35-12.1

   § 28-35-12.1  Prompt decision required.– The judge who hears a case pursuant to § 28-35-12 shall render his or herdecision no later than thirty (30) days after each party has completedpresenting its case. This provision shall not apply in any case for which thejudge has shown just cause, as determined by rules of the workers' compensationcourt adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the court by §28-29-26, for delay beyond thirty (30) days.
