SECTION 28-35-36

   § 28-35-36  Action by supreme court. –The supreme court after hearing any appeal shall determine the appeal, andaffirm, reverse, or modify the decree appealed from, and may itself take, orcause to be taken by the workers' compensation court any further proceedingsthat shall seem just. If a new decree is necessary, it shall be framed by thesupreme court for entry by the workers' compensation court. At that time, thecause shall be remanded to the workers' compensation court for any furtherproceedings that shall be required.
