SECTION 28-35-44

   § 28-35-44  Monthly or quarterly paymentsto nonresidents. – If an employee receiving a weekly payment under chapters 29 – 38 of thistitle ceases to reside in the state, or if his or her residence at the time ofaccident is in an adjoining state, the workers' compensation court, upon theapplication of either party, may, in its discretion, having regard to thewelfare of the employee and the convenience of the employer, order that paymentto be made monthly or quarterly instead of weekly.
