SECTION 28-35-55

   § 28-35-55  Filing day or required actfalling on weekend or holiday. – Whenever, under chapters 29 – 38 of this title, the day, or the last day,for the filing with the administrator of the workers' compensation court, ofany original petition or other petition, motion, decree, claim of appeal,reasons of appeal, brief, or other document in writing, or for the doing of anyact required or permitted to be done by those chapters, falls on Saturday,Sunday, or a legal holiday, the act or filing may be done on the nextsucceeding business day.
